Beryl was born in Mundubbera, Queensland, and raised on a dairy farm at Glenrae.

She has always had a keen interest in Country Music and in 1969 she joined the Maryborough Branch of the Modern Country Music Association.

It was at this time she began writing lyrics and poetry.

In 1999, Beryl met the Pincott family and recorded a CD Burnett Country with Michael that was released in 2002.

Beryl has released a CD, of her own poetry. A Colourful Life is a delightful collection with her spoken word presented with musical arrangement to suit the individual works.

In 2008, Beryl released another CD with Pat & Michael Pincott.  A delightful collection of songs written by Beryl as well as some written by Michael, Pat and Jack Pincott.

This CD, Around and About has received a very positive response from those who love easy-listening, traditional Australian Country Music.
